Mr. Ramesh Negi

President

Ramesh Negi has been a Member of Indian Administrative service 1984 batch of AGMUT Cadre. He brings with him vast administrative experience of working in diverse cultural and social environment   of different Union Territories and States of Goa and Arunachal Pradesh.

Ramesh Negi held vital assignments in NCT of DELHI such as ADDITIONAL COMMISSONER MCD, MD Delhi Tourism, Chairman Delhi Transport Corporation, CEO Delhi Jal Board and Principal Secretary Urban Development.

As the Additional Commissioner MCD he is credited with reforms in SANITAION in MCD and effective implementation of solid waste management strategies. Privatisation of transportation of Municipal Solid Waste was one such big initiative resulting in revenue savings and timely lifting of Municipal Waste.

In Tourism sector he focussed on efficient utilisation of Tourism assets and established DELHI HAAT at PITAMPURA and JANAKPURI .These HAATS promote small craftsmen from Villages all over INDIA and provide affordable FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT to citizens and Tourists.

On taking up the assignment of Chairman DTC, Modernisation of DTC fleet was achieved to facilitate successful conduct of COMMONWEALTH GAMES.

In the Water Sector as the CEO of JAL Board, Ramesh Negi is credited with major reforms aimed at conservation of this scarce resource and adoption of latest MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. Three areas in SOUTH AND WEST DELHI were assigned to leaders in the  INTERNATIONAL Water Management Companies for operation and reduction of Water Loss in the system .Water   Tariff  was rationalised and revenue of DJB  doubled in three years.

To reduce pollution in YAMUNA  sewerage   treatment standards were made stringent and Mega Project   INTERCEPTOR   SEWER   SYSTEM   was   launched. Management of Water and Sewerage treatment plants was out sourced to leading International and Indian companies in this Sector.

In addition to URBAN SECTOR Sh. Ramesh Negi has held the position of Finance Secretary in Daman Diu, Dadara Nagar Haveli, State of Goa and Arunachal Pradesh. His co ordination skills and deft presentations before 14th Finance Commission secured ever highest award of Central Grants to the State of Arunachal Pradesh.

In the two years that he lead the administration of the state of Arunachal Pradesh as the Chief Secretary he laid special emphasis on development of Infrastructure in remote areas and conservation of rich Environmental and Cultural heritage of the state for future generations.

Sh. Negi has served as Chairperson of Delhi Child Rights Commission and presently he is the Chairperson of Supreme Court Monitoring committee on Homeless a d shelter less In NCT of Delhi.
