Rigzin Spalbar is a Governing Council member of IMI and a member of the Ladakh State Chapter -Sustainable Development Forum of Ladakh. He is the Convenor of the Organising Committee for SMDSXI. Mr. Spalbar was an elected representative in the LAHDC from its inception in 1995 till 2015 as Councilor, Executive Councilor and twice Chair - CEC.
